Pride festivities don’t have to fade when the calendar page is turned

As the month of June draws to a close, the lively invitation displayed at the various Pride celebrations need not become a fading memory. Even if niche menu items aren’t front and center, there are ways to acknowledge this community any day, every day.

In the past year, support for the LGBTQ+ community has become a bigger topic of conversation. While some people have strayed far from the mean, the truth is that societies are all about diversity. What a person looks like, who they like, or how they present themselves won’t change through peer pressure. Acceptance cannot be partial.

During the month of June, many food brands celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. For example, Skittles introduced five limited-edition Pride packs. Available through July, each pack is a visual representation of the pride’s story. QR directs people to more information about the artist.

For the fourth year, Skittles has used its packaging to support LGBTQ+ communities. While it may be available for a while, support is up for a much longer time. The rainbow is always waiting to shine light on another part of the inclusive community.

Barefoot Wine is another brand that has been supporting the LGBTQ+ community for nearly 35 years. With the Barefoot Bubbly Sweet Rosé Pride Edition, vibrancy is waiting to be poured. Sweet sparkling wine is perfect for celebrating or turning any day into a reason to pop some bubbles.

Another brand, Sincere Cider, is LGBTQIA-owned hard cider. Made with 100% clean ingredients, our balanced cider has released new flavours. One opening of this hard cider continues Pride festivities at a moment’s notice.

Continuing the drinks conversation, Chambord offers a toast to society through specialty cocktails. Most recently, she partnered with Karamo Brown to celebrate positivity and be a strong role model. While a cocktail is poured for a cause at select locations, there are plenty of options that can rock a celebration anywhere. Check out this margarita twist.
